TRAIN A NURSE

HELP TRAIN A NURSE OF THE FUTURE

There is a shortage of qualified nurses, not just in India, but all over the world.

FEAST has helped train over 400 nurses from some of the very poorest families in Tamil Nadu.

Students can undertake a 3 year diploma course or a 4 year degree course at a local Nursing College; both of which guarantee a career in nursing.

HOW CAN YOU HELP TO TRAIN A NURSE?

£2000 will help to cover the cost of training. With your donation, together with a contribution from the family, the student will receive excellent tuition which will equip them for an independent and rewarding career as a nurse.

Transform a young person’s future for a one-off donation of £2000.

MEET SHANIYA

The FEAST Nursing Scheme is designed to help youngsters who want to study but due to their circumstances, are unable to pay the necessary fees. Shaniya is one such girl; born into a fishing family, both her parents sadly died within 8 weeks of one another. She was taken in by her sister and brother-in-law, but they were struggling to support and feed their young family and Shaniya felt a burden.

Thanks to a generous donation, Shaniya was able to enrol on a 4 year degree course in Nursing. This will change her life; she can look forward to a worthwhile and independent future full of hope.

I am loving my time at college and am so looking forward to working in a hospital. Thank you for making this possible, my parents would be so proud of me.
